  1. It’s a total waste of time filling in cracks and power washing basement floors prior unless you’re a professional getting paid very well to epoxy a really nice house. If it’s your own middle class house then it’s a waste of time….Youre already most likely going to epoxy the floor a darker color and that darker color is gonna make all your imperfections very hard to notice. Also a floor doesn’t need scrubbedhard either, just sweep it. Epoxy is gonna harden and tighten into the concrete very well over a few days regardless of how clean or dirty the floor is.
