Overview of the process of applying the Rust-Oleum EpoxyShield to a concrete basement floor. I showed all the prep steps and the products I used to complete the job. I also tested the surface at the end for abrasion resistance and gave a cost estimate for a small basement.

Excellent video. I love how it’s right to the point no fluff, and great summary.
Awesome dude! Looks great
It’s a total waste of time filling in cracks and power washing basement floors prior unless you’re a professional getting paid very well to epoxy a really nice house. If it’s your own middle class house then it’s a waste of time….Youre already most likely going to epoxy the floor a darker color and that darker color is gonna make all your imperfections very hard to notice. Also a floor doesn’t need scrubbedhard either, just sweep it. Epoxy is gonna harden and tighten into the concrete very well over a few days regardless of how clean or dirty the floor is.
how come you did not prime
any update on the floor? how has it held up?
Is the etching necessary? It’s not in the product installation manual.
Do you need to use the chips?
Would this be suggested for finishing a basement where I would have a rug over top or is epoxy unnecessary and I should just put down some dry lock?
Can you wax it for a shine?
