  1. While new motors are exciting, the Toyota bZ4X already delivers efficient and reliable performance. With its advanced design and focus on safety, it’s a leader in the EV space.

  2. Maybe they should consider pairing the older version with an axle for the rear and an axle with turning for the front that can be retrofit into cars. Certainly it could be done cheaper than buying a new car. Plus you'd get to keep the vintage cars on the road. Edison motors is doing this through deboss garage using 1-ton truck axles to be able to convert existing work trucks to electric hybrids.

  3. Where did the extra 67% come from? Any three-phase electric motor, whether induction or synchronous, compared to an internal combustion engine has an efficiency above 95%. The unfortunate thing is that they still use gears…
