You can definitely cut this in 1/2 for 1 or 2 people or you can increase it if you have more people in your family!

My husbands grandma just passed & her clothes had such a Latino distinctive smell and I cannot wrap my head around what she used but he said she would just mix random stuff around and a lot of these products are definitely used by Hispanics so I bought all of this and I’m so excited to try it out today it’s close to her because I never asked her before she passed she used and let me tell you her clothes always smelled from a mile away. You smell it you knew that was her. Thank you for this recipe.
I made this detergent for a long time but then started seeing people say the soap ruined their washer. I never had a problem and I am considering going back to it because it is such a cost savings. I got a food processor from goodwill to grind the soap though.
I have a problem, I do not have a water softener. That is what my concern is that my clothes will become dingy. I don’t recall you mention if you have hard or soft water.

That seems like it would be too strongly scented for my taste. My skin would be itching from all that. I don't see the point of this concoction. All these ingredients are already laundry detergents on their own. I don't see the point if mixing all of these different ingredients together. You are not really making detergent, they are already premade to be used as laundry detergents/ soaps.
