  1. I love acrylics because you can look at a painting and feel it's odd texture. . . whilst watercolor and the others are more smooth. I just like how physical acrylics make paintings look. And, it's still possible to paint smooth paintings with acrylics anyways.

  2. You keep saying how gauche is easier to work with than acrylics… As someone who’s done acrylics my entire life, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use gauche. I just can’t. For me, it’s super hard. So I think the difficulty of a specific paint just comes down to what you’re comfortable with, and what you like more, and especially what fits your style. I use the shiny waterproof nature of acrylics to create texture and volume without changing colors, and it just doesn’t work for gauche.
