  1. Way too loud. Catches rocks and spits them out later. It wanders side to side, doesn’t track straight on dry pavement especially grooved highways. It’s a snow tire at best. This video is just a commercial, not a critical review.

  2. Just got a new set of these for my car in size 225/45/r18 to replace the OE Continentals with 68,000 miles. On first impression, the crossclimate 2’s are noticeably louder and less smooth. Haven’t tested them in rain or snow yet, but I hope they live up to the promise of increased poor weather traction to compensate for the worse noise and ride quality.

  3. I just put them on my '2025 CR-V AWD EX, and so far love them! I've got about 1,400mi on them now, from 90mph highway speeds, to 6"-8" of fresh now, some fairly steep (if short) snowy hills, and one packed slippery hill, all up in the mountains from 7,000-10,600ft. On 3 of those hills, I was able to completely stop just up from the bottom, then try and climb from there. With Snow Mode on and these tires, it just went up no drama or detectable wheelspin. The were a somewhat better on ice and really packed snow (after the plows) than the Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires I had on my 2010 V6 AWD RAV4 (totally by a drunk 2 months ago, hence the new CR-V), but DEFINITELY better in the fresh snow, and a LOT better when hitting deep standing water at high speed on the freeway. Since I don't "offroad" the CR-V like I did my RAV (that's what I bought my 2024 Colorado ZR2 for), I consider the CR-V just an AWD "car" with extra snow clearance. So these tires seem to work perfect for that, and they even handle nice on the dry curvy mountain roads.
