Making of Laundry Detergent at Home

In today’s video I’m making laundry detergent for my family of 4. This is a budget friendly recipe & will last at least a year, possibly longer depending on how much you use per load!

You can definitely cut this in 1/2 for 1 or 2 people or you can increase it if you have more people in your family!

I hope sharing this recipe (ingredients & prices) that I use to make my diy homemade detergent for my wonderful family helps you save money.

Please let us know in the comments if you try it & how you like it!

  1. Yeah I researched the accusations of home soap and it is propoganda when you go to thier profile the are advertising soap for you to buy. Ignore them besides home made uses only 1tablespoon to 1/2 cup depending on the consentration and is way more gentle than corperate name brand soaps by far.

  2. Thanks for the tip. I may get a cheap garbage can and pour everything in outside then put top on and shake it . If its to heavy I may get a wooden cane or wooden broom stick what ever cheaper. I share the link with caregivers who do laundry 7 days a weeks for 5 and 6 people.
