In today’s video I’m making laundry detergent for my family of 4. This is a budget friendly recipe & will last at least a year, possibly longer depending on how much you use per load!
You can definitely cut this in 1/2 for 1 or 2 people or you can increase it if you have more people in your family!
I hope sharing this recipe (ingredients & prices) that I use to make my diy homemade detergent for my wonderful family helps you save money.
Please let us know in the comments if you try it & how you like it!

It nice to be knowgdle about things there nothing wrong about share knowledge at least a person can know how to make there own this would be fun to teach and learn
Completely off subject you look like the girl from extreme cheapskate that put coffee beans on her hair. Washed her car with water bottles 😊. She was so cute
Love this recipe.
Love it
Yeah I researched the accusations of home soap and it is propoganda when you go to thier profile the are advertising soap for you to buy. Ignore them besides home made uses only 1tablespoon to 1/2 cup depending on the consentration and is way more gentle than corperate name brand soaps by far.
Would you add this to the detergent slot? Or just throw it in the drum?
I do the same thing. Only I mix some 2 cups with hot water in the jar, then pour it on the laundry.
Do you use fabric softener as well? Not in the recipe but in the washer? I love love love the arm & hammer scent booster.
The mix is incredible the scoop got me insane 😍 imagine putting 1 full scoop of that wen doing laundry
Thanks for the tip. I may get a cheap garbage can and pour everything in outside then put top on and shake it . If its to heavy I may get a wooden cane or wooden broom stick what ever cheaper. I share the link with caregivers who do laundry 7 days a weeks for 5 and 6 people.
